Be part of the Story of Change
/PLEASE NOTE GUELPH EVENT HAS BEEN CHANGED TO MONDAY SEPT. 11th, 2017
Share your experiences, feedback and questions about independent facilitation!
Facilitation Wellington Dufferin has been part of the Independent Facilitation Demonstration Project for more than 2 years. Please join us as we share what we have learned and collected in our book, Weaving A Story of Change: The Independent Facilitation Demonstration Project…Learning So Far.
Independent Facilitation grew out of the work of self-advocates and families. They believed that it was important for people to control the direction of their lives, and that independent facilitation, along with individualized funding, helps to make that possible. Independent facilitation assists people to create change, make decisions about their support, and connect with their communities. People can then live as full citizens, and valued members who belong.
This gathering is for:
- individuals and families who engage in independent facilitation (or who would like to)
- interested community members
- interested agency representatives
- others who support our work
